There won't be any more paper works as it used to be earlier. All the placement related activities will be coordinated through this portal itself. The facilities include pre-placement activities like resume preparation, eligibility decision etc.; and also the post-placement activities like communication between company and college, company and students, and a direct platform where your doubts regarding placements can get cleared.
Students will be entering their details here, and hence the resume will be generated from their details in a proper decided format. Hence, students need not worry about resume preparation etc. A verification session will be there, before the placements start, in which all your certificates etc. will be checked and verified. So, please enter the correct information.
A period of time is announced for the students to update their resume. In this duration, students can update, re-edit their resume any number of times. Also, facility is there to see how your resume looks, after updating the details. Once they update all their details, the resume editing facility will be blocked.
After this duration, companies will be able to browse the portal and set their eligibility criteria. They can see live that how many students will be able to satisfy their criteria. Hence, they can relax or contract it accordingly. Once they finalize it, it will be submitted to Job-Portal. Thereafter, list of eligible students will be displayed on the portal for the company.
Written round of the placement goes usual. In case of interview, students need not carry any document with them; they can go to the interview and company people will be able to see their resume online at the portal.
After the placement in a specific company, that company will have rights to browse through the resume of its students. Also all communication with companies will be done through the portal.
